Background
Silver (born in East Los Angeles) grew up in Bassett, California along with a brother, three sisters and immigrant parents from Zacatecas, Mexico. Until the age of ten, he and his family lived in a one-bedroom home where the living room, kitchen and porch became bedrooms at night.
Silver completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Pitzer College, Claremont, California and Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, respectively. His field of study at Harvard was Counseling and Consulting Psychology. His expertise is in assisting others in becoming “Extraordinary” through counseling, mentoring and Multimedia Training Systems… a consulting firm he founded over thirty-five years ago.
Silver is a professor (over twenty-years) of Counseling at Mt. San Antonio College, Walnut, California. He teaches one of the most prolific leadership classes in the State of California. He is a practitioner of competitive Okinawan Karate over many years. He has two adult children and lives in Riverside, California.
