Jowanna has always had an interest in music and storytelling. She started an indie music podcast called Screw Pop Culture in 2009 to highlight the often overlooked local music scene. The weekly podcast turned into a 24-hour streaming radio station called Radio KSCR.
In 2018 Jowanna created the LA Music Video Awards spotlighting the best music videos in the world. In 2019 Jowanna started Internet Radio Organization, a podcasting company that helps businesses tell their own stories by creating weekly podcasts. Jowanna perfectly balances both her business and creative sides with all of her ventures.
